Yes we can, Yes we did!!!

Ok America, we have a new president: Barack OBAMA!!! I am SO proud of this country tonight and feel so honored to have been a part of this historic election! I believe he will lead us in the right direction and for the first time in several years, I have hope again in our government. What an emotional and humbling night!

I'm cautiously optimistic (see my blog: www.esloseguido.blogspot.com) because he has been inflated to this "messiah" status and I worry that no one can live up to that. I hope he uses these 4 years wisely and lives up to all that we, as Americans and the rest of the world expect from him.

So glad someone posted something like this :) I agree and I am so excited about this. He was my pick, so I am even happier, but regardless it is a huge day for all of us. We are a part of history that will be exciting to tell our kids when they are older and understand!!

It is sooooo awesome!!!!! ANd Colorado went Democratic, too, which it never does. I am soooooooooo glad Obama is the new President, since he seems like the only one who can lead us through this. Too bad Bush is technically still president for another 2.5 months, though. But, anyway, instead of Nobama, GOBAMA!!!!!
