Jeff

This week-end Jeff is out of town. He gets back tomorrow but then has to go to Salt Lake for work on Monday. I miss him. :)
I was just thinking of how much I love him.

You know how people say that when you meet someone you go through that phase where your love for each other is so intense it takes your breath away and then that feeling eventually fades the more you get used to each other...Well, let me tell you that after being together for 12 years (married 9 years), I still feel that way!! I am so in love with my husband, with who he is as a whole. He is such a wonderful person and has SUCH a good heart. He always treats others well, he is never, NEVER mean, disrespectful or judgemental to anyone. He is such an intelligent and talented person, I truly feel lucky to have him in my life.
We share such a special bond, what we have is so rare and precious. I love the life we have built with each other and I love our girls so much.

I love you Jeff.

Butterflies and flowers!

Jeff's mom sent some cute decorations for the girls' rooms. She sent Sam some colorful butterflies to hang from the ceiling which is perfect since Sam's room is decorated with butterflies. I hung them up while Sam was at school so we could surprise her...needless to say she LOVED the surprise!
She also got these cute little bugs that I wrapped around some daisies, I think it looks so cute!
Anaïs got some big flowers for her room, they look great!!

The girls were excited and are saying a big thank you to Nana.

I see you!

I took Anaïs to the doctor yesterday to make sure she didn't have an ear infection since she had been touching her ears lately. She doesn't have one, which is great.
Anyway, we were in the waiting room and I was reading a magazine when I saw her trying to extend her neck as much as she could so she would see my face which was hidden by the magazine. That was too cute, I just had to take a picture of it!

Our week-end in California

We had such a great time! We stayed at Jeff's mom's condo, which is really nice. Sam feels right at home every time we go there, she knows exactly which room is "hers".
The girls had fun just hanging out at the condo...

On Saturday, we went to our first LPA playdate, which truly was a wonderful experience. We are looking forward to many more!! We met some incredible people there and I could not believe how nice and welcoming everyone was with us. I was a little nervous about not knowing anyone there but it didn't feel that way at all! Sam made friends with two cute little boys there, one of which had a rare form of dwarfism. Anaïs got plenty of attention and loved every second of it.
It felt so GOOD to talk to other parents of kids with dwarfism, I felt right at home. :)
We are planning on attending the LPA spring regional in April...I can't wait!
After the playdate, we went to an outdoor shopping center and I got to do some shopping at Crate and Barrel, which I love!
On Sunday morning we went to a beach called Dana Point. It was a little cold for me, but Sam had fun there playing in the sand with Jeff.
I'm in trouble, Anaïs is already making faces for the camera! LOL

Then, Sunday afternoon we went to Balboa Island. For those of you who live in Southern California, this might sound lame and like such a tourist thing to do but I absolutely LOVE going there!!!!! When Jeff and I were dating and I visited from France for the summer, he took me there and we keep such good memories of that day. Sam loved taking the little ferry to get there.

I love the beach at Balboa, I think it's such a pretty beach!

Sam and I went on the ferris wheel there and we had a great time on it!!

Valentine's day party at Sam's school

The Valentine's day party at Sam's school was a lot of fun. Sam had so much fun preparing goodie bags for all her friends!! She picked out candy, yoyos, pencils and rings to put in the bags. All the kids in her class made goodie bags and then they just took turns handing them out to all the other classmates.

Anaïs had a lot of fun too! Mrs Wagner, Sam's teacher, had fun holding Anaïs and made sure that she wasn't missing out on any of the fun.

Also, here is a video of the party...
