Thanksgiving Feast at Sam's school

Today was Thanksgiving Feast at Sam's school. We got to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and apple crumble...it was pretty good! First, Sam had to show off her VIP poster one more time. ;)

Then, the kids dressed up as native Americans and wore a paper costume they had made for the occasion. They were VERY proud of their work.
When it was time to go outside, Sam was the line leader since she's the VIP this week. She takes her VIP job very seriously, she loves being in charge!!

We had lunch outside, the temperature was perfect.

After lunch, it was time to clean up and Sam enjoyed helping her teacher.

The most exciting thing about being the VIP is that they get to take Mona Lisa (the guinea pig) home for the week-end. Since we are going to Salt Lake this week-end for a whole week, Sam got to take her home today...how fun is that? She insisted to have Mona Lisa's cage in her bedroom with her tonight.

What a fun Feast! Isn't it great how much they love that attention on their special week at school? Ruger's class does that too and they just eat it up!

I'm so glad that Taylor's class doesn't have a pet that has to go home on the weekends - we'd be the ones to lose it! Tay loves to be the line leader too - although she is really bummed when she has to be the "caboose"! Cute pics!

Sam and Ashleigh would get along so well. They have the same type of personality! One of these days I am sure they will meet.

Adorable! And I must say you are very brave to take on a guinea pig for four days!

Alex, I am two posts behind so I will fill up my comments here. The beach video was so adorable. Your accent is awesome. The peaceful sounds of the beach in the back made me yearn for the warmer weather again! Sam is totally my type of girl-she is just a self assured beautiful ball of energy! You are good parents-I would not want the guinea pig in my house!
How is Anais doing with the helmet? She is just so adorable!
