WOW...what a great week-end!
First of all, I want to say how thankful I am that we can be a part of
LPA, it is such a wonderful organization for our children. They are very lucky to be growing up nowadays versus 50 years ago.
Throughout the week-end, we have met so many wonderful people! So many inspiring people!
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to meet such great people that I would have probably never met if I didn't have
Anaïs.
We went to some very interesting meetings, including parents meeting, where people shared their experiences, joys and struggles. It was amazing to be able to listen to other parents and feel like you understand each other 100%. It makes you feel like you are not alone and that is probably one of the greatest feelings!
We also had the opportunity to take
Anaïs to a medical consultation with Dr Bernstein (orthopedics) and Dr
Danielpour (neurosurgeon) from Cedars-Sinai Hospital. She got a clean bill of health and said she looked great. They looked at the MRI from before her spinal decompression surgery and said that she REALLY needed the surgery. They asked who her neurosurgeon was and when we said Dr Walker from Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City they could not stop telling us how amazing Dr Walker is!!! I feel very lucky to have
Anaïs followed by such talented physicians.
During all this, Sam was in the kids room and had so much fun and made so may new friends! In the afternoon, there was a fun Easter egg hunt organized in the hotel for all the kids.
