Bubbles and park.

Yesterday and today I took a bunch of pictures that I need to post on here before I get lazy.
Yesterday, the girls had fun blowing bubbles at home and looking for bugs. Sam blew the bubbles and Anaïs tried to catch them, it was pretty cute.

Taking a moment to think about life...lol

Then, today we went to the park and had a picnic. Sam had been wanting to go to this park to feed the birds and ducks. We went out and bought bagel sandwiches from one of our favorite places around here and also brought some bread to feed the ducks.

Then we walked to the playground area so Sam could play and run off some of her energy. Anaïs was getting tired so I held her while she was drinking a bottle of milk and she ended up falling asleep on my lap and took a little nap.

When she woke up she was in a pretty good mood and decided she wanted to get on the swing.

And last but not least, here is Sam looking so grown up!!!

Two birthday princesses.

We are halfway done with the move...we are not in Park City yet but we are closer. LOL
We found a place we liked, made an offer on it and hope this is it because we are ready to find a place!!!
Anyway, things are going well up here, the girls and I leave for France in about 2 weeks.
Today, we went to Jeff's mom's house to celebrate the girls birthday with his family. They had a great time, as always and looked super cute in their pretty dresses!

Jeff's mom has a great yard with a cool playhouse for the kids...Anaïs looked like a little princess in front of her castle.

They also have some ducks there and Anaïs just loves them!

Anaïs' actual birthday is tomorrow, I can't believe she's 2 years old!!!! I still remember being pregnant with her and being so worried about everything...if only I could have known then what I know now!! She is the cutest thing in the world and let me tell you, I wouldn't change one thing about my little girl! We love you so much Anaïs, happy 2nd birthday!

Graduation and birthday party!

Today was Sam's graduation...this school year went by so fast! The kids had a little ceremony in the classroom, I can't believe how grown up they all looked compared to the beginning of the year. Here is Sam walking in, she was pretty nervous. Singing the national anthem:
Playing recorder:
Sam and her best friend. It breaks my heart to see these guys say goodbye to each other.
Sam and her teacher Mrs Vargas:
My sweet girl ready to go to 1st grade!

Then, this afternoon we had the big birthday party for both Sam and Anaïs with all our friends.

They both got so many presents!!!

I think it was a great party overall. It was great to see all our friends before the move but it was so sad to say goodbye. We are very lucky to have such wonderful friends and I know we have build strong friendships here in Vegas. Thank you everyone for being our friends and for celebrating the girls' birthday with us!

A special day for a special girl!

Today Sam turned 6...I can't believe it!!! Time goes by way too fast! This girl holds such a special place in my heart, I love her so much. I am so proud of her for being such a good person...she really is. She has such a good heart.
This morning, before school we gave her the presents we got for her and she was very excited! Then, this afternoon I brought cupcakes to school so she could celebrate her birthday with her classmates.

Then, from school we had her best friend go home with us. They played at home for a while and then we went out to dinner. She was very surprised when the waitress brought her a special birthday dessert.

After dinner I took her and her friend to see Shrek. Since we were early we went to the arcade to play some games before the movie.

This was Sam's first time seeing a movie in 3D, she loved it!

I think the birthday girl had a very fun day!
Tomorrow is the actual birthday party for her and Anaïs, since Anaïs' birthday is coming up too. She also has her graduation ceremony at school...seriously I can't believe she is 6 and getting ready to start first grade!!!
Happy birthday Sam!!!
