Worth every penny!!

I know several of you fellow bloggers have asked me to tell you my thoughts about the book version of my blog. Well, I LOVE it! The quality is very good and the book looks great.

First private lesson.

Today Sam had her first lesson with her instructor. She loved the one on one attention and of course now she wants to only do private lessons...lol
She is very serious about the whole thing, she is cute.

After the session she gets 30 minutes on the ice to practice what she just learned.

BUT, someone was not being very patient during the lesson...

I have to say that it is a challenge to go there with Anaïs because she is fussy the whole hour.

A well deserved surprise.

A couple days ago, I bought some Easter stuff to send to my nieces who live in France. Sam LOVED the glittery pencils and I bought for one of them. Today, I thought I would surprise her and buy her the same things and a DVD. For those of you who know me well, you know I do not spoil my girls at all...in fact I am probably a little too strict about it.
When Sam got ready to go to bed, she saw the little box under her pillow and was like "what? Who put this there?"

She was so excited when she saw what was in the box.

I LOVE how grateful she is when you do little things like that. She is a wonderful kid.

After school fun.

Today, after school we went to the park with Sam's best friend from school. The girls had a great time.

Anaïs was funny because she wanted to play with Sam and her friend and be part of the action, which was interesting for me...lol

Ice skating.

Today we went ice skating. Sam has been wanting to try for a while and she absolutely loved it, now she wants to take lessons. I am planning on signing her up for group lessons but also a couple private sessions so she can really learn.

A Sunday afternoon at home...

This morning the girls and I went to the gym bright and early, around 8:00. By the time we got home it was about 10:30. We stayed home the rest of the day. The girls played together pretty well today...well for the most part! lol

For some reason, they were both after Sam's french flag today...they both wanted it at the same time.

As always...Anaïs got what she wanted and Sam gave in and gave it to her.

Then later on, I found Anaïs going through Sam's school backpack where Sam must always have a full change of uniform. Well, Anaïs DEMANDED to put Sam's underwear on her head...I guess she thought it was a hat or something.

When Sam saw that, of course she wanted to put something silly on her head too so she got a tutu skirt, it looked freaking huge on her head! LOL

Then Sam decided it was Anaïs' turn to get the tutu...

Later on, when Sam was taking her bath, I got a cute video of Anaïs getting all wet because of Sam's crazy splashing:
